Online Dating Profile Photo No No’s

Online Dating Photo TipsAre you wondering what type of online dating profile photos to post to get the best response rate from women?

Everyone is visual and your online dating photos can say much more than words ever could.  So, if you’re wondering what type of online dating photos NOT to post, then watch the video below:

Here’s what you shouldn’t post in your online dating profile:

If you’re trying to turn a woman off, then these online dating photos will do it.

  • The 6 pack abs photo

What you think your photo says to women: See, I workout and am in great shape.

What it says to women: I think I’m hot, and you should too!

  • You with your first love, your car

What you think it says to women: I have a hot car and you’ll look good riding around in it.

What it says to women: I love my car and I spent a lot of money, aren’t you impressed?

  • The laptop pic of yourself (usually not smiling)

What you think it says to women: Here’s a casual photo of me.

What it says to women: I’m trolling the internet in my dark room looking for women.

  • You & your attractive girlfriend(s)

What you think it says to women: See attractive women like hanging out with me, so you should want to hang out with me too.

What it says to women: I’m insecure, so I have to show you that I have attractive girlfriends.

  • You drunk

What you think it says to women: I still like to have fun!

What it says to women: I still like to party like I’m on Animal House and I’m never going to grow up.

  • You and a big group of friends (which one is YOU?!)

What you think it says to women: See, I’m popular and I have lots of friends.

What it says to women: Where’s ‘Waldo’?!

  • You 10 years ago

What you think it says to women: See, I used to look good.

What it says to women: You used to look good, with ‘used to’ being the key word.

  • You holding your sister’s baby

What you think it says to women: See, I like babies.

What it says to women: He’s a somebody’s baby daddy.

  • Multiple selfies (creepy)

What you think it says to women: I look good at all angles.

What it says to women: I’m insecure, so I take lots of pics of myself.

Bottom line, just be yourself and show your true personality in an attractive light and that’s what’s going to attract more women in online dating.

  • In the reviews of online dating profiles that our customers get, a common complaint is people wearing sunglasses in their photos. Everyone wants to see eyes, not cool sunglasses!

Also, photos that are low quality and anything where it’s just a far-away shot often gets complaints.

    • Yes, that’s very true. Sunglasses make it seem like you’re hiding something because we can’t see your eyes. And when it comes to quality of photos…there’s no reason these days to have low quality pics.
