Martha Stewart Needs a Matchmaker, Not

So you think you have a hard time dating and meeting the right guy? Well, just be glad you’re not Martha Stewart on

Finding the Right Man Isn’t Easy

As you know, dating and finding the right man isn’t easy, but if you’re Martha Stewart, trust me, it’s 100 times harder!

Now, you’re probably thinking, why is it so hard for her….she’s got everything: a great life, fame and fortune.  And you’re right, but that’s precisely why it’s so much harder for her to meet the right man.

Martha Stewart on Today Show –

This week on the Today Show, Matt Lauer convinced Martha to put her profile up on

I have to commend Martha.  Putting up her profile on takes a lot of guts, when you have her fame, fortune and notoriety.

When it comes to online dating, women have the advantage.  There are more men on online dating sites than women, so an attractive woman can just put up a profile and watch the emails from the men roll in.

Now, you might be thinking….well, that’s great for Martha, she’ll get a ton of men contacting her.  But that’s exactly why online dating won’t work for her.

If a man doesn’t know who she is, he’s been hiding under a rock for the last 30 years.  Martha is a high profile celebrity and it’s very easy for someone to target Martha just based on her net worth and fame alone.

Martha is going attract all kinds of men, and not necessarily a good one on….

1) A younger man who wants a Sugar Mama

2) A man who’s a Gold Digger

3) A man who’s a Fame Seeker

4) A younger man who wants to date a Cougar

5) A man who wants a Homemaker (well, Martha is the best at that!)

Martha will never, ever know if someone is dating her for her, or for some other disingenuous reasons.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that I always say online dating is a great way to meet someone, but it’s like a second full time job.  If you want to get great results, you have to take it seriously.  You can’t log in every couple of weeks, you have to be committed and log on every day, or at the least every other day.

Last time I checked, Martha runs several big corporations and magazine publications, so I’m guessing, she doesn’t have a lot of free time to get really down and dirty and weed out all the bad candidates.

Martha Needs a Matchmaker

Martha’s a high profile celebrity, who doesn’t have a lot of free time on her hands and requires a man of a certain stature, which is exactly why Martha is the perfect candidate to work with a Matchmaker. Martha needs a Matchmaker who can select men and then screen them out for her to make sure they meet her criteria.

When a Matchmaker selects the right man for Martha, he will know the just the basics about Martha before going on the first date. Her age, occupation, her lifestyle, interests and hobbies.  He will not know that she’s Martha Stewart before the first date.  When he meets her for the first time, he will then see it’s Martha Stewart.

By using a Matchmaker, Martha will know the true intentions of the men up front. She won’t waste her time going out with men, who only want to date her for her fame and fortune.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking online dating at all. I actually use to own an online dating site and I think it’s a great way for people to meet someone. But for someone who is a high profile celebrity like Martha Stewart, she really needs a highly personalized Matchmaking service which can screen out all the bad apples of the bunch, so she ends up with a crown jewel.
